Main challenges of the project

Create a coherent home and take advantage of natural light

One of the challenges was to unify the common areas while preserving the identity of the private spaces. We designed the layout so that the kitchen, dining room, and living room would be visually connected, and so that the bedrooms and bathrooms would maintain a more intimate and tranquil atmosphere.

Architectural solutions

An open, practical and welcoming day area

We organized the living room, dining room, and kitchen as a connected area. Wood adds warmth and continuity, while light-colored furniture and clean lines help maintain a bright and uncluttered look.

In the kitchen, we combined white cabinet fronts with a dark-toned countertop and backsplash, creating a subtle contrast. The peninsula expands the work surface and provides a connection point with the dining area.

In the living room, we chose furniture in neutral tones and wooden pieces that complement the natural light streaming in through the windows. Open shelving adds storage and display space and helps to integrate the living area with the dining room.

Materials and featured elements

A natural combination of wood, light tones and soft textures

We selected materials and finishes that bring warmth and continuity to the home. The wood-look flooring runs throughout the main rooms and is combined with light wood furniture and elements, such as the living room shelves and some details in the kitchen.

In the kitchen, white fronts balance the dark countertop and wall covering. For the bathrooms, we chose beige-toned tiles with a stone finish, which create a serene and timeless feel.

We completed the look with neutral-toned walls, light textiles, and sheer curtains that let in natural light. In the bedroom, a soft green hue adds a touch of color without disrupting the overall harmony.
